Depression & Anxiety

I use a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused interventions. I will talk to you about your habits, stuck points, spiritual beliefs, community, etc., to help you identify positive solutions to your struggles.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

My philosophy with treating OCD is “always ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) and the rest is tailored to the individual.” By that I mean some clients do well with CBT and ERP, some do well with ACT and ERP, and with others I focus exclusively on mindfulness skills with ERP. But as you can see, ERP in various forms is essential to the healing process of OCD.

Chronic Illness

I provide a space for clients with chronic illness to both lament and find hope. Living with a chronic illness is challenging and my goal is for clients to feel comfortable sharing their feelings, while also working toward living a life they love and value.

Anything that is human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, less scary.
