STEP TWO: First 50-Minute Session

This is when we review the answers you provided on your intake form, gather more details about your history, and establish a therapeutic plan. Depending on your presenting concerns, we will discuss whether short term or long term therapy is the best fit for you.

RATES, PAYMENT, INSURANCE & MORE

RATE

Services with Green Pastures Counseling are billed at

$150 per 50 minute session*

*Sliding scale rates are available on a case by case basis.

PAYMENT

Online payment is processed through your client portal in Simple Practice. This method accepts most major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA plans.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.

INSURANCE

I accept Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and United Healthcare.

If you are private pay and depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

We would recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?

  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?

  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
